SCHOOL MEMORIES: At Texas A&M I had way too much fun and was told to try again after a year at a junior college. Got tired of waiting and joined the Marine Corps. Enjoyed the time at A&M, but was unable to focus, for a JUST turned 18 year old.
Walked punishment too many weekends. Wore a rut in the ground. Got late-dated at the Military Ball and threw cereal, wet, all over that Sr’s room and got paddled for it – BIG freakin' paddle too. Dated a History professor’s daughter and because of that earned the handle “I want to go non-reg Thompson” for it.

classmate Ben Tomerson who died tragically way too early.
The most important message that I would like to pass on to generations to come: Please be patient. This world has been here for 6,000,000,000+ years and you will have maybe 70 of your own. Please be patient and reserve some of the Earth for the generations to come
